About Kenshaka
Kenshaka Ali is a director, performer, educator and spiritual practitioner with a lifetime's experience teaching and directing professionally and in over 15 colleges, universities and conservatories across the country. His students have won entry into prestigious schools and conservatories, built careers as working artists, and founded their own arts institutions. As educator and teaching artist, he has long championed the call for arts in education as both creative and spiritual practice crucial to the democratic ideal.
